Delete Your Account & Data

You can delete your Planz account and all associated data directly within the app, or by contacting our support team.

How to delete your account in the app

Open Planz and sign in
Make sure you're logged into the account you want to delete.

Navigate to your Profile
Tap your profile icon, then go to Settings.

Tap "Delete Account"
Scroll to the bottom of Settings and tap Delete Account. You'll be asked to confirm before anything is removed.

Confirm deletion
Read the confirmation prompt, then confirm. Your account and data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

What data is deleted or kept
Data type What happens
Account & profile Deleted  Name, email, profile photo, and all account credentials are permanently removed.
Plans & events Deleted  All plans you created are deleted. Plans you were invited to may retain activity from other members.
Listz & Spotz Deleted  All personal lists, spots, and associated content you created are removed.
Messages & activity Deleted  Your messages and activity history are permanently deleted.
Aggregate / anonymized analytics Retained  Aggregated, non-identifiable usage data may be retained for product improvement. It cannot be linked back to you.
Legal / compliance records Retained  Records required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations may be retained for up to 7 years per applicable law.

Retention period
After you confirm deletion, your account is deactivated immediately and scheduled for permanent deletion. All personal data is fully purged within 30 days. During this window, you may contact support to cancel the deletion if you change your mind.
